At Penn State she was a 3 year starter, 2 time captain and 2 time Big 10 defensive player of the week (2004, 2005)
2002 Penn State was the NCAA National Runner Up falling to Wake Forest in the finals
Big 10 Defensive Player of the Week as well as being named Women’s Field Hockey National Player of the week
captained the undefeated PSU Big 10 Season Championship team and set a school record with a 17 game win streak
Molly was inducted into Spiritus Leoninus which is a society that recognizes student athletes for outstanding performance in athletics, academics, leadership, and community service
Molly was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Board at Penn State where she was a liaison between team members and the faculty on the board
Molly graduated in 2006 from Penn State with a degree in Education and continued her post graduate education in Architecture with programs at Columbia University in New York and Syracuse University’s campus in Florence, Italy.
Coached one season at Loyola Academy before accepting a coaching position at the Latin School in Chicago for field hockey and softball

Married to Dan Sarhage, resides in Orland Park, IL, has three daughters Maeve, Eloise and Violet
